The British Aerospace Jetstream 32 is a continuation of the J31 aircraft. It has been operated by Pan American World Airways, Trans State Airlines, Express I Airlines as well as Atlantic Coast Airline and it remains in use with Charter and Regional airlines around the world to this day. Powered by Garrett TPE-331-20 engines, which are capable of carrying 15212 pounds at takeoff weight while still having 4500 pounds worth of useful load space for baggage storage areas (the aft luggage compartment can hold 628 lbs., whereas ventral pod holds 435).
The intrepid pilot behind these planes flew them through thick storms when most others would turn back home – or worse yet crash their craft because they could not see where they were going!
