Taoyuan is located in the center of Taiwan and is known as one of the top destinations for business and leisure travel. The transportation network consists of a small city public transit system, trains in conjunction with extensive bus services, bicycles, taxis, and rental car companies.
The weather in Taoyuan in summer is very hot. The average temperature in summer is 25 degrees Celsius with a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 20 degrees Celsius. The worst time is June to August when the monsoon season hits Taiwan, however, if you are jet-setting around with your family, summer is considered as one of the best times to travel because it’s light out until 8:30 pm and you can visit all the local festivals.
Taoyuan has an international airport that is divided into two terminals. This international travel hub covers the geographic areas of Taiwan, Metropolitan New Taipei, and parts of Northern part Taiwan, Northern Taoyuan County. As it is the largest air transport hub in Taiwan, jets to Taoyuan will often come from or depart to other Asian countries including Japan, China, and Singapore.
