Aircraft Model Piper PA-42 Cheyenne IIIA

About This Aircraft

In the 1980s, Piper Aircraft developed a twin turboprop plane that was intended to compete with Beechcraft’s King Air. The PA-42 Cheyenne III had many features going for it: cheaper and faster than the competition but also easier on maintenance costs.

It has room for four passengers or over 300 pounds of baggage in its single cockpit; even when fully loaded up to 3/4 capacity, there is still space available for almost 300 gallons of fuel – enough power (with reserves) to fly 600-700 miles at speeds around 200 mph!
