The Brazilian Bandeirante was designed by Frenchman Max Holste and Ozires Silva in 1968. The first prototype, the YC-95 flew on October 26 of that same year. It is a light transport aircraft intended for use in Brazil’s Air Force (FAB).
The company Embraer was created to manufacture this plane after its design as they needed more than just one person working on it at all times due to how intensively complex it is, with each new variant being added in 1970 like 7 seaters or 10 passenger jets. They are still manufacturing these planes today where you can book flights through different airlines!
