The Beech King Air 90 is a turboprop corporate aircraft that was the first of its kind. It played an integral part in shaping and building what would be one of the most successful family models ever built: The King Air. This extraordinary airplane began life as a development project for US Army requirements to create staff/utility transport with PT6’s, which led to production orders from both military personnel (the U-21A) and civilians alike when it introduced pressurization into the equation on January 20th 1964– or “Beech Day.”
