The Cessna 401 is a six- to ten-seat, twin engine light corporate and utility aircraft with retractable landing gear sold by the US company Cessna Aircraft Company. The business class seats of the plane are easily removable so that it can also be used as an all cargo configuration.
The production line for this model was named Utiliner or Businessliner in 1966 when they were developed from previous models – namely the 411 series including two new features: A propeller instead of turbojet engines, which made them much more fuel efficient; and increased range thanks to added gas capacity (77 gallons).
