Yiwu Airport is a type of public and military airport that serves Yiwu and Jinhua. It is a dual-use military and civil airport serving Yiwu, Jinhua in Zhejiang Province, China. It is located 5.5 kilometers (3.4 mi) northwest of the center of Yiwu and 51 km (32 mi) from the urban area of Jinhua. Originally the Yiwu Airport was used as a military training airfield for the People’s Liberation Army Navy. This airport was opened to civilian flights on 1 April 1991. Yiwu Airport is used for both passenger services and military operations.
