Yinchuan Hedong International Airport is a popular and beautiful international airport. It is the primary airport that is serving Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, People’s Republic of China. The Yinchuan Hedong International Airport is located 25 kilometers (16 mi) southeast of downtown Yinchuan in the town of Linghe of Lingwu City. It is named “Hedong,” which translates to “east of the river” that is deriving from the airport’s position east of the yellow river.
