Thanh Hoa is a province on the North Central Coast of Vietnam. It borders Quang Binh Province to the north, Ha Tinh and Nghe An provinces to the west and south, Hanoi to the east. The lowland area of Thanh Hoa is a rice-growing region while there are also many lakes and rivers.
The weather in Thanh Hoa in summer is hot and humid with average temperatures between 26 and 33 degrees Celsius. In winter, cold air from the north mixes with moist air from the South China Sea to bring rain. This makes Thanh Hoa Province one of Vietnam’s wettest areas, with an average rainfall of 2,500mm per year.
Due to its location at the southernmost part of the country, this is one of the more remote destinations for jets charters and private jets flights.
