Seville is located in the Andalusia region of Spain. The city is known for its patio homes, which are a combination of Catholic and Arab architecture. Also known as “Ciudad de Santa Maria de la Esperanza”, Seville offers an abundance of historical sites and museums.
The weather in Seville in summer is hot and dry with temperatures in July reaching 30 degrees Celsius. In winter, the climate is milder but can get quite cold at night (rarely below 5 degrees Celsius). The city has an annual rainfall of around 26 inches a year with no rainy season.
Seville is well connected to the rest of Spain through its airport. There are frequent flights into Seville from other Spanish cities and two daily connections to London Gatwick. It would take you almost three hours to travel by car to get from Madrid, the capital of Spain, while it just takes an hour and a half on a jets’ flight to Seville. You can fly from private jets to Malaga in less than an hour and still have some time left for a stroll by the beach.
