Jaffna or Ja’anapahan is the capital city of the Jaffna District in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka. It is situated on a peninsula and surrounded by the Indian Ocean and the Laccadive Sea in the west, north, and east, and Vanni forests to the south.
The weather in Jaffna in summer is hot and humid. Jaffna’s proximity to the equator means that it has little seasonal variations in day length or temperature throughout the year, with a consistently tropical climate. The city experiences heavy rainfall between October and January due to western disturbances as well as within the Bay of Bengal.
Jaffna is something that is only known to the fewest number of people. It is not common information, and hence not many are privy to it. However, there are several situations where you would need to charter jets for Jaffna.
