Homyel, Belarus is a small city located in the westernmost part of Belarus. Due to its geopolitical location, it serves as the border between Russia and Poland. It is a very modernized area with several major financial institutions operating out of Homyel.
Homyel is just 150 kilometers north of Minsk so if you are traveling from the capital to Homyel then a private jets charter will be needed as commercial flights do not fly to this city.
The weather in Homyel is subarctic. Winters are long and cold while the summers are really short and not so hot. The only season where you will see snow in Homyel is during winter. And from spring till summer, it’s usually wet with a lot of rainfall.
