Charleroi is located in Belgium, in Wallonia, and is a municipality within the province of Hainaut. It was previously known as Charleroi-Watou and Charleroi-Diurnal. With roughly 200,000 inhabitants it is one of the largest cities in Belgium’s Walloon Region.
