The Cessna F406 Caravan II was built primarily for use in the developing world. Not surprisingly, that’s where you usually find them. They’re sprinkled throughout Africa and South America but are mainly seen in Alaska (although Navy SEALs did have a few). Unlike its twin-engine predecessor – the C208 Caravan I – it doesn’t look anything like it except for their ability to fly short distances or over rough terrain.
