Amman Queen Alia International Airport is the main airport of the city which is located at a farther distance as compared to the Civil Airport. More than 40 airlines are hosting their flight services in this airport. The planes land and take off from/to different destinations across the globe. As per the records are considered, there were 7 million passengers who passed through the Amman Queen Alia International Airport doors in the year 2014 only.
There are many facilities within the passenger terminals for the travellers to find an enjoyment space within the premises until their flight arrives. There are many shops, stores, lounges and other facilities present in the airport. The airport is currently under an expansion project of worth $100 million. There will be many more changes to make special arrangements for the VIP passengers. They intend to add more duty free shopping stores, restaurants, bars and other such facilities to make the airport even more luxurious for the passengers to halt in between their flights.
